AFTER DARK

After the sun sets, Andersonville comes alive.

Andersonville may be way Off Broadway... you might even say Off Off Broadway. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t theatre. Neo Futurists are at home here. Nearby you’ll find Griffin Theatre, Quest Theatre and Raven Theatre. Chicago Filmakers is right on Clark Street. And you can usually find the city’s only “bike-theatre” puppet shows on one of the street corners.

The neighborhood boasts many great dining destinations and a few more interesting places to kick back a beer. We’ll visit them all.

The local chamber of commerce sponsors a number of seasonal events like desert crawls, pub jumping parties, and late night shopping sprees. On the right night Andersonville is filled with the undead dead when the Zombie Pub Crawl takes to the streets.
