NeighborhoodTourist.com establishes itself as a truly LOCAL broadcasting system. We start life in Andersonville, but hope to one day cover the entire City of Chicago.

We’re experimental – a probe if you’d like. We’re here to establish that decreasing equipment costs and internet networking have made really local broadcasting a compelling alternative to traditional media. No longer confined to the few, today newsletters, websites and blogs are already publishing to small but similarly interested communities.

NeighborhoodTourist.com has a mission to promote the local neighborhood -- community, its residents and businesses, for the good of that neighborhood in particular and the city in general. We believe we can bring local news and programming to a target audience of interested viewers. We believe we can serve, inform and educate that community, advertise and promote it and its businesses. We can entertain. We further believe this will assist in the growth and development of the neighborhood and its businesses. And, most importantly during these tight economic times, we believe we can achieve these goals while creating new jobs.

We also believe that if it works in Andersonville, nothing can stop it from growing across the city, state or nation.
